The second wave of the pandemic has been harsh on everyone but for our challenged brothers and sisters it has been even more difficult. With no money and no jobs, they have been going hungry for days. Divyang Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DICCAI) - an industry which is diligently working for the benefit of people with disability by making them self reliant. They are now working very hard to ensure that no challenged person remains hungry during the lockdown.

DICCAI has been doing all this work under the guidance of founder owner of DICCAI, Shri.Raghunath Yemul Guruji & also by Mr.Danesh Shah, Managing Director of Sanghar Exports. They have started distributing free food packets during lockdown to 2500 people daily through 15 distribution centres. DICCAI has also been providing free transport facility, sanitization vehicle, autos etc. All this was done by strictly following the local Covid-19 guidelines.

"In these times, when it is dangerous to even step outside the safety of our homes, these challenged people are suffering a lot. They neither have money nor do they have access to basic amenities. The situation is dire, they need our help. And that’s why we are working to provide food to almost all challenged families in Pune," - Kunal Rajendra Wagh, National Spokesman for DICCAI.

The need is real and it is urgent. While the DICCAI is doing as much as they can for the ones in need, they need our support to reach out to many more challenged people in need of help. Let us join hands and help DICCAI distribute groceries and save lives during this second wave.
